Vitafos® Junior Strawberry is a food supplement with high nutritional value that helps cover the energy and nutrient needs of children from 1 to 10 years old in situations where the diet is not enough.
It is considered a complete enteral nutrition formula and suitable for oral administration.
A glass of Vitafos® Junior Strawberry provides 260 kcal per serving , following a caloric distribution of macronutrients that meets the characteristics of a balanced diet.
The composition of Vitafos® Junior Strawberry provides:
- An adequate energy density (1.3kcal/ml)
- Proteins: made from 100% whey proteins, with high biological value and high digestibility.
- Fats: it has a balanced profile of fatty acids in addition to incorporating MCT, which is easily absorbed and a source of quick energy. It is also enriched in essential fatty acids ω-6 and ω-3 and in DHA , important in the modulation of inflammatory processes and brain development.
- Carbohydrates : more than half of the energy in the formula comes from these macronutrients following recommendations from nutrition experts.
- Vitafos combines prebiotics (fructooligosaccharides + inulin) and probiotics ( B. infantis IM 1 and L. rhamnosus ), promoting a balanced intestinal microbiota, in addition to stimulating the immune system and regulating intestinal transit.
- 9 Vitamins and 14 minerals : enriched with a vitamin complex that helps cover the requirements of these nutrients during childhood and adolescence. It is worth highlighting the content of calcium , vitamin E, selenium and zinc for their antioxidant power.

Vitafos® Junior has improved the availability of some ingredients, such as iron . This indispensable nutrient is now incorporated in the form of bisglycinate, which has better absorption than other sources of iron, and is better tolerated at the digestive level, among other benefits.
Vitafos® Junior is gluten-free and suitable for children with lactose intolerance . (Not suitable for cases of galactosemia).

Instructions
Vitafos® Junior Strawberry can be used to complement the normal diet or as an additional source of energy and essential nutrients in situations where the daily diet is not sufficient:
- Picky eaters, no appetite or an unbalanced diet
- Growth period
- In those situations where there is intense physical exercise
- Lactose intolerance and/or allergic to various foods
- Periods of convalescence, decline or recovery
- In acute or chronic diseases that may affect the intake or absorption of food or reduce appetite

Dosage
To obtain a 200 ml portion of Vitafos® Junior Strawberry , add 4 level tablespoons to a glass with 160 ml of water (warm or cold) and stir until completely dissolved.
Vitafos® Junior Strawberry can be combined with other foods to enrich dishes, juices, smoothies, creams, soups, etc. increased its nutritional value.
