Vitafos® Strawberry is a food supplement with high nutritional value that helps cover energy and nutrient needs in situations where the diet is not enough. It is included in the Vitafos® range that also includes the Vitafos® Vanilla variety.
It is considered a complete enteral nutrition formula and suitable for oral administration in people over 10 years of age. It can be used as the sole food source or as a complement to the diet.
Its presentation is in powder form with a pleasant strawberry flavor due to its content of 4.75% strawberries and it also stands out for its easy dissolution both in water and in foods or already prepared dishes. It can be used to enrich desserts, smoothies, yogurt, etc., increasing the caloric value without increasing the volume of the dish.
A glass of Vitafos® Strawberry provides 260 kcal per serving, following a caloric distribution of macronutrients that meets the characteristics of a balanced diet. It also provides all the vitamins and minerals for proper functioning of the body, prebiotics and probiotics that help regulate transit and recover a balanced intestinal microbiota.
The composition of Vitafos® Strawberry provides:
- An adequate energy density (1 kcal/ml)
- Proteins: made from whey proteins , with high biological value and high digestibility. Does not contain gluten.
- Fats: presents a balanced profile of fatty acids and a source of quick energy. In addition, it is enriched in essential fatty acids ω-6 and ω-3 and in DHA , important in the modulation of inflammatory processes. Does not contain cholesterol.
- Carbohydrates: more than half of the energy in the formula comes from these macronutrients following recommendations from nutrition experts. It combines maltodextrin and sucrose, both of which are easily absorbed and tolerated. It can be used to feed children with lactose intolerance. (Not suitable for cases of galactosemia).
- Supplemented with prebiotics: fructooligosaccharides promote the growth of beneficial microbiota in the gastrointestinal tract, regulate intestinal transit, stimulate the immune system and increase nutrient absorption.
- Vitamins and minerals: enriched with a vitamin complex that helps meet requirements during all stages of life. It is worth highlighting the content of calcium and antioxidant vitamins and minerals such as vitamin E, selenium and zinc that prevent the oxidation of essential fatty acids and DHA as well as oxidative damage.
- It provides low osmolarity and renal solute load that facilitate digestive tolerance and reduce the risk of metabolic stress.
Instructions
Vitafos® Strawberry allows you to complement the nutritional needs of different physiological states in which there are risks of deficiency due to a decrease in intake and/or an increase in requirements:
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding.

- Anorexia, malnutrition, convalescence.
- Geriatrics.
- Oncology, surgery.
Ingredients
Maltodextrin, sucrose, dairy serum proteins, vegetable oils (palm oil, palm kernel oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, high oleic sunflower oil), fructooligosaccharides, strawberry powder (4.75%), mineral salts (potassium chloride, sodium phosphate, sodium citrate, calcium chloride, magnesium citrate, calcium phosphate, potassium citrate, magnesium hydroxide, potassium phosphate, calcium hydroxide, iron sulfate, zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, manganese sulfate, potassium iodide, selenite sodium), beet powder, natural strawberry flavor, emulsifier (soy lecithin), vitamin complex (vitamin C, nicotinamide, vitamin E, calcium pantothenate, vitamin B6 , vitamin B2 , vitamin B1 , vitamin A, folic acid , biotin, vitamin D, vitamin K, vitamin B12 ), fish oil (rich in DHA), antioxidants (extract rich in tocopherols, ascorbyl palmitate).
Contains milk, fish and soy proteins.
Dosage
To obtain a 240 ml portion of Vitafos® Strawberry, add 4 level tablespoons to a glass with 200 ml of water (warm or cold) and stir until completely dissolved.
Vitafos® Strawberry can be combined with other foods to enrich dishes, juices, smoothies, creams, soups, etc. increased its nutritional value.
